For more detail, see <a href=\"https:\/\/hoalg.net\/chrisrogers\/Rogers-ALATCHA_UNR_Proposal_Public.pdf\">our proposal<\/a>, which was written for a particular internal funding opportunity at the University of Nevada, Reno.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong>11 Aug. 2026<\/strong>. Some good news: the <a href=\"https:\/\/vida-nyu.github.io\/Lea\/\">Lea project<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/VIDA-NYU\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/github.com\/VIDA-NYU\">VIDA NYU group<\/a> achieves a number, but not all, of the design goals we envisioned incorporating into ALATCHA. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong>29 June 2026<\/strong>. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/hoalg.net\/chrisrogers\/Rogers-ALATCHA_UNR_Proposal_Public.pdf\">proposal<\/a> for a catalyst grant from the University of Nevada, Reno was declined. We learned afterwards that the review panel consisted of members from the university faculty senate and staff, rather than external experts in the mathematical sciences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong>6 May 2026.<\/strong> The video below is a demonstration of actual software providing an elementary  functional proof-of-concept of ALATCHA. Developed by <a href=\"https:\/\/dffarr.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/dffarr.com\/\">D. Farr<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/hoalg.net\/chrisrogers\/\">C.
